Pack identification data for the 70 battery/BMS profiles in the BMS-EV catalogue: OEM part number families where publicly documented, model-year revision ranges, and the source each value came from.
Direct answer. 42 of 70 battery/BMS profiles have a documented OEM part number family recorded. The remaining 28 are marked NEEDS VERIFICATION — BMS-EV ships firmware for them, but no public teardown or parts-catalogue reference confirms a part number, so none is stated here. This page is generated from compatibility.csv, which is the canonical source.
How to read this table. A part number here identifies a pack family, not a single serial-numbered unit. OEMs revise pack hardware within a model generation, and salvage listings frequently quote the vehicle rather than the pack. Always verify the actual label on the pack you are buying against the vehicle year and capacity before ordering a controller. Where a field shows NEEDS VERIFICATION, it means no public source confirms it — not that the pack is unsupported.

These profiles ship as products and have bench-tested firmware, but no public source confirms an OEM part number. If you have pack label photographs or a parts-catalogue reference for any of these, a documentation report on GitHub is the fastest way to get it added.

Every field on this page is a column in the canonical dataset:
battery_part_number, battery_revision, verification_type, bms_ev_firmware_min, hardware_revision and sourceBecause no public source states one. Tesla, BMW and Nissan packs have extensive community teardown coverage and parts-catalogue visibility; many Stellantis CMP Smart Car variants, BYD models and PHEV packs do not. Rather than guess a number, the record is marked NEEDS VERIFICATION.
No. The part number narrows the pack family, but revision-level differences within a family can change the CAN dictionary. Specify the vehicle model year and pack capacity at ordering, and BMS-EV will set the firmware branch accordingly. If the pack turns out to differ from the ordered configuration, the controller can normally be reflashed.
Partly. It tells you what part number family to expect for a given vehicle and capacity. It cannot tell you the condition, state of health or history of a specific pack — for that you need a diagnostic readout from the pack itself. See Getting Started for what to check before buying.
It is generated from compatibility.csv. When that file changes in the GitHub repository, this page is rebuilt from it, so the two cannot drift apart.
